Title: Backend Developer (C# and Python)
Location: Remote work is available, with a preference for candidates located in Washington State or Southern California.
Duration: This position is initially offered as a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Our client a leading pharma giant is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join their team.

Role Overview:

As a Backend Developer specializing in Client/AI services, you will be responsible for handling API backend services primarily using C# and Python. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance backend features for existing applications and API services. This role requires expertise in Shell scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend features for Client/AI applications and services.
• Write and maintain Shell scripts to automate tasks and enhance system functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user stories and requirements.
• Communicate effectively and promptly address issues related to production applications and services.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in Client/AI, NLP, Python, C#, Azure, etc.

Required technology expertise:

• Proficiency in Python and C# programming languages.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of Client/AI concepts and applications.
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Analyze user stories and requirements to develop backend features.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production applications and services.

The hourly rate for this position is between $65-$80 per hour.
